Vikas Gupta (born on 7th May 1988) is an Indian television producer, creative director, screenwriter and host known for hosting MTV Ace of Space. He came into popularity after he came as a participant in Big Boss 11 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9. He has his own productions studio by the name “Lost Boy Journey”

Early Life and Background
Vikas Gupta was born and raised in Dehradun, India. He grew up with his mother Sharda Gupta, sister Komal Gupta and brothers. He has a brother named Siddharth Gupta who is an actor and model and another brother Watan Gupta. Television actor Anshuman Malhotra is his cousin. He did his initial schooling from a local school in Dehradun and then moved to Delhi for further studies. However, he wasn’t able to complete the course and moved to Rai University, Ahmedabad, India to pursue graduation. His long-time interest in the entertainment industry and writing led him to move to Mumbai to become a scriptwriter. Vikas came out I to public as bisexual in June 2020 through a post on Instagram.
Personal Life
Much is not known about Vikas’s relationships other than the fact that he is bisexual, which he told the people via an Instagram post. He was rumoured to be dating Priyank Sharma and Parth Samthan but the later denied such claims. Presently, Vikas is single and very much happy in his career-oriented lifestyle.

Career
Vikas started off his career as an intern in Balaji Telefilms at the age of 17. He was the creative head for Ekta Kapoor in Balaji Telefilms. He supervised shows like Mahabharat, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya as the creative head. After that, he moved on to create his own production studio by the name Lost Boy Productions. Under his own banner, he created popular Television series like Gumrah: End of Innocence, Warrior High, Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan, V the Serial, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and MTV Webbed. He has been recognized as the youngest programming head of MTV India. In 2017 He participated in Colors TV’s Big Boss 11 and became the second runner up. In 2017, he produced the Class Of 2017 on Alt Balaji. In 2018 he hosted IIFA Buzz in Thailand on Voot. In 2019, he became a participant in Colors TV Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 in Argentina.
He has created Punch Beat on ALT Balaji. In March he reunited with his co-contestants Bharti Singh, Aly Goni, Harsh Limbachiyaa and others to be a part of Khatra Khatra Khatra. In May he created an anthology series Yeh Ishq Nahi Aasaan for Dangal TV. In February 2020, he created Class of 2020 for ALT Balaji. He has also created his own reality show called MTV Ace of Space in 2018 and has successfully made 2 seasons of the show till now as a host. He is known as the Mastermind in the show.

Controversies
On 3rd December 2013, Parth Samthaan accused Vikas Gupta of touching him inappropriately. This caused a huge social media outrage but later things cooled down as Parth was seen vacationing with the producer 20 days later and also retrieved the claims back. Ekta is a statement told that the allegations made by Parth were false and made out of anger as they have a breakup and things turned sour for them. Vikas was hurt by the outrages and called out the trolls and Parth in early 2020, as the situations were shameful and bad for his mental health.
Lesser Known Facts
- After completing his 12th he moved to Delhi for a college but the college shut down due to some unknown reasons.
- His first work in Mumbai was to write for Bhimsain Khurana, the director of Bollywood film “Gharaonda (1977)”.
