He has been in the movie called Aar Ya Paar as a lead actor. He is the son of actors Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat. His father is a famous actor and comedian. He has written screenplays for various directors in India and the US and his short films have been displayed at various film festivals all over the world.

Aditya was born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India in a financially well-off family to father, Paresh Rawal, and mother, Swaroop Sampat. He follows Hinduism and holds Indian nationality by birth. He has one elder brother named Anirudha Rawal. His father, Paresh Rawal, is a famous actor, comedian, and member of the Parliament in Lok Sabha. Aditya Rawal went to Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai for his schooling. After completing his schooling he joined H.R. College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai, and later went to the London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA), England, and NYU Tisch School of Arts, New York. Aditya made his debut in 2012 with the movie ‘Ferrari ki Sawari’. He wrote a historical play called ‘The Queen’ after graduation. This play was produced in New York NY ‘Theatre for the New City’. He has also written a short Chinese film called The Mailbox. This short film reached the semi-finals of the NBCU Short Film Festival. He has written various short films and screenplays for umpteen directors in India and US. He was also a director and producer of a documentary called Drama-in-Education- Taking Gandhi Out of The Textbook.
