Tina Dabi IAS Biography
Tina Dabi IAS is the first rank holder of the UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission) exam in the year 2016. Tina took the first rank in her first attempt itself through which she came into limelight.
According to her in the first place she is a Delhiite, then a Kashmiri Babu and after that, she is an IAS officer. She not only cleared the UPSC exam in the first attempt but also scored the first rank and became breaking news and an idol for many.
She cleared her UPSC civil services exams in 2016 after which she joined IAS in the same year and was under training for two years. In March 2018 she got married to Athar Amir Khan who himself is an IAS officer. Later in October 2018, she received her first posting.

Personal Details
Tina Dani is an IAS officer. She is the daughter of Jaswant Dabi and Himani Dabi. Her father Jaswant Dabi is General Manager at BSNL and her mother Himani Dabi being a former IES officer. Tina Dabi (IAS) has a younger sister named Ria Dabi. By religion, she is Hiding, whereas some of her family members follow Buddhism.
She is from Scheduled Caste and the first person from SC caste to clear UPSC in the first attempt that too securing the first rank. On 20th March 2018, Tina Dabi and Athar Amir Khan did court marriage, and on 7th April they did marriage by delivering all the rituals. Court marriage was performed at a court situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan whereas their religious marriage was held at Pahalgam Club, Pahalgam, Kashmir.

Career and Education
Tina Dabi (IAS) wanted to take up B.Com after her schooling but eventually took up B.A. Political Science. Tina was very passionate about clearing the UPSC civil services exam and started preparing for it from the very first year of her college. Both her parents Jaswant Dabi and Himani Dabi have cleared UPSC IES ( Indian Engineering Services) initially. This also added to her determination to clearing UPSC.
Tina never felt that clearing UPSC was tough, or it was time-consuming. She said that she loved studying even if it for long hours. She used to study 10, 12 and even 14 hours a day while preparing for UPSC and never took it as a burden since she enjoyed studying. Her mom is very supportive from the very beginning, and this support helped her studies while preparing for UPSC.
According to her patience, focus, love, and support from family are the success mantra. Tina was a genius from the very beginning, and she scored 100% marks in Political Science and History in 12th standard ICSE boards. She was recognized as Student of the year from Lady Shri Ram College.
She took admission in RAU’s IAS study circle, New Delhi when she was just 18 years old. She studied for long hours and followed a fixed plan and time for each and everything subject. Tina did expect to be in the shortlisting by securing the first position was like a dream for her, which came true. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal congratulated her for securing the first position in clearing UPSC exams.
Current Updates
Tina Dabi is now Tina Dabi Khan after her marriage with Athar Amir Khan in 2018. She also has a blog page under this name through which she keeps updating people about her life. She is currently posted as Sub Divisional Magistrate at Bhilwara, Rajasthan.
