Early Life and Background
Rubika was born and brought up in Udaipur, Rajasthan to Amar and Fatima Liaquat. She belongs to a Muslim family. Her father was a businessman while her mother is a scientist and also holds a PhD degree in environmental sciences. She has a sister. Her sister’s name is Anjum Liaquat. Rubika completed her schooling from St. Gregorios Senior Secondary School in Udaipur, Rajasthan. After completing her school, she went to Mumbai where she did her bachelor’s in journalism and mass communication from the University of Mumbai. After completing her graduation, Rubika waited for two years to get a good job and start her career in journalism.

Rubika Liyaquat is currently married. She got married to Naved Qureshi in April 2012. They tied the knot at Bora community hall in April. Her husband is also a journalist. The couple has two children, one boy and one girl together. The couple is living happily together.

Career
Rubika began her career in 2003 as an anchor with channel 24 during an internship. She completed the internship in 3 months. She started her actual career with channel live India as an anchor in 2007. Later, she joined News 24 in 2008 as an anchor and senior correspondent. She left after a few days and joined Zee news where she became popular following her show called Taal Thok Ke where she appeared as a host. After the show, she became a senior anchor and editor of Zee news.
She left Zee News in 2018 and joined ABP News Network where she started hosting the prime time show called Master Stroke. She joined the list of the journalists who have interviewed PM Narendra Modi in April 2019. Her presentation was also appreciated during the Indian General Election 2019. She earns more than 3 lakhs per month.
