Supriya Karnik (born on 13th March 1975) is an Indian actress who majorly works in Bollywood. She is popular for playing negative and comic roles. She mostly appears in side roles or supporting roles.

Early Life and Background

Supriya Karnik was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India in a Hindu household. She went to schooling at St. John’s Universal School, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She did her bachelor’s in art degree from Mumbai University. Much is not known about her family as she never discussed them in the media. 

Personal Life

The actress was rumored to be dating co-actor Paresh Rawal in the past. The duo did several movies together but the rumors were not confirmed ever by either of them. Supriya presently is assumedly unmarried and has no kids. Well, we cannot say anything for sure due to her disassociation with the media. She keeps an extremely private life. Career 

Supriya started her acting career in 1994 with the film Taal. After that the same year she also appeared in a television series called Shanti. She mostly appears as a supporting actress in films and television. She has done films like Pardes, Khel, Andaaz, Exchange Offer, etc.  She has done television operas like Devi, Neeli Ankhen, and Tehkikaat. She is popular for her comedy roles in the film franchise “Welcome” and De Dana Dan. Other than Hindi films and television she has also done one Tamil movie “Baba” in 2002 and three Telegu movies – Nuvvu Nenu (2001), Palnati Brahmanayudu (2003), and Khaleja (2010). She was last seen in the movie “Machine” in 2017.
