Samyuktha Karthik (born on 5th May 1984) is a South-Indian actress, model, and entrepreneur. She is famous for appearing in the famous reality TV show, Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 as a contestant. Samyuktha has done modelling for many brands and magazines like Tokyo Magazine, Thelittlefactory, DT Next, etc. She has appeared in commercials for brands like Happy Unicorn, Safe Wash, Indulekha Hair Oil, IDBI Federal Life Insurance, etc. She was also the winner of Miss Chennai Title contest for the year 2007.

Early life and Background
Samyuktha Karthik was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India in a South-Indian family to father, Raman Shanmughanathan, and mother, Prathiba Shanmughanathan. She follows Hinduism and holds an Indian nationality. Her father is a businessman and her mother is a housewife. She is the only child of her parents. Samyuktha completed her schooling from St Patrick’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School in Chennai. After completing her schooling, she pursued graduation in Civil Engineering from Hindustan College of Engineering in Chennai. After completing her graduation, she landed a job as a software developer in the famous tech company, Infosys. After working there for some time, she left her job to pursue modelling as her career.

Samyuktha Karthik is married to a guy named Karthik. The couple got married after dating for quite a few years. They got married in a private marriage ceremony in their hometown, Chennai. Career
Samyuktha Karthik started her career as a software developer at Infosys. She worked there for a few years after her graduation. She has also worked for Arabian Publications as Media Coordinator, Black & Green as Associate Director, Tech Zone as Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager, and Toni & Guy as Franchise partner. She wanted to pursue modelling as a career so she quit her job and started looking for modelling opportunities.
She has appeared on the cover of magazines like Tokyo Magazine, Thelittlefactory, DT Next, etc. Samyuktha has also done commercials for big brands like Safe Wash, Indulekha Hair Oil, IDBI Federal Life Insurance, etc. Apart from modelling, she is a professional certified nutritionist.
