He is famous for portraying the role of Romesh “Romi” Kumar Bhalla in Star Plus’s television show Yeh Hain Mohabbatein. He has appeared in more than fifteen television shows including drama and reality TV shows like Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi-Made in India, Nach Baliye 9, Naagin 3, etc.

Early life and Background
Aly Goni was born and brought up in Bhaderwa, Jammu & Kashmir in a Muslim family to father, Amjad Goni and mother, Ruby Goni. He has one brother, Arslan Goni and two sisters, Iiham and Saltanat Goni. Aly completed his schooling from a local school in his hometown. He wanted to become a model so he participated in the Indian Film & Television Institute modelling event which was organised by his college. He won that competition. In 2012 he appeared for the auditions of MTV’s Splits villa and got selected for the show. He then shifted to Mumbai to pursue his career.
Personal life
The actor had been in several relationships in the past. He dated the model, Natasha Stankovic for a few years. The couple broke up because some things didn’t work out between them. The decision to break up was mutual, they are good friends now. Goni has also dated his co-star, Krishna Mukherjee from the Hindi serial Yeh Hain Mohabbatein. Currently, it is speculated that he is dating Hindi TV actress Jasmin Bhasin. The posts a lot of pictures together on their social media. Aly Goni started his professional career as a model. He won the IFTI modelling event which was organised by his college. He has worked with a few brands before coming to the television industry. Goni made his TV debut after he got selected for Splits villa 5 in 2012. He was also invited as a guest in the 6th season of Splits villa. He rose to fame after portraying the role of Romesh “Romi” Kumar Bhalla in Star Plus’s Hindi serial Ye Hai Mohabbatein. This show aired for six years and was a huge success.
